What part of you hits “like”?

Social media. Love it or hate it, it seems now to be a way of life. When you see a post, what happens? When hitting like, do you think about the person that posted it? Or is it about you? What response are you looking for, in the “poster” or the “viewer”. I have been trying to move away from the virtual world, and instead, show my likes through a smile to a stranger, a chuckle at something funny, or an extra look at a piece of beauty – directly displaying the reaction the stimulus has provoked in me. I feel much more in control of that, and it does have a sense of grounding. Instead of “like” when I see articles, I use the tool as a “save for later". I’ll scan the media, tag the thing
